The Bradford Pride Awards

The Pride Awards are a way to celebrate the work of groups and individuals who give up their time to improve life for LGBT people in Bradford.

Bradford’s reputation as a welcoming and progressive city is both well deserved and good for everyone.

The Pride Awards will thank some of the people who help to build our city’s reputation at the same time as they help people from the LGBT community.

You can nominate someone for a Pride award, and the winners will be decided by a panel made up of representatives from the LGBT community, the Council and West Yorkshire Police.

Awards will be presented at a ceremony in City Hall on 22nd February during an evening of entertainment.

LGBT History Month event at Leeds City Museum

Celebrate LGBT History Month at Leeds City Museum with this FREE programme of films, stalls, activities and talks organised by Leeds Queer Film Festival on 18 February 2017 11-3pm. All are welcome to come along and get involved!

A selection of films on LGBT History from past festivals will be screened and there will be a panel discussion on local LGBT history.
