Bradford Pride Angels 2011
A Bradford Pride Angel can be any person organisation or business who has made a significant contribution to securing the success of Bradford Pride 2011.
Why become an Angel?
Bradford Pride Angels will receive an exclusive certificate and badge, to show that they are a Bradford Pride Angel 2011.
Angels will be recognised and thanked via our website and facebook pages, in an official list of Bradford Pride Angels 2011.
Selected Angels (those making the largest contributions/greatest efforts) will also be featured in our press and news items.
Business and public sector sponsors will be listed in our printed promotions, featured on our Pride webpages, and have additional benefits as outlined in the section on howe to become an Angel, or as agreed individually.
Importantly, organisations sponsoring Bradford Pride will also receive materials which can be displayed on their premises, clearly showing that they are an Angel and LGBT friendly. This should be good for business!
How to Become a Pride Angel
Individuals and voluntary groups:
- - Any individual donating a minimum of £100
- - Individuals and voluntary groups that fund-raise a minimum of £100 through their own efforts
- - Be an official sponsor
- - Organisations/public service providers
- - Bradford and district service providers that want to display an official banner showing their support as Bradford Pride Angels 2011, with our official, branded and publicised logo – minimum donation £150 (includes production of banner)
- - Provide a stall at the event itself. Charges will vary according to each organisation but will start at around £50
- - Sponsorship add ons. For example, the sponsorship of specific areas, such as family/young people’s area, healthy living area etc; fund-raising events in advance of Bradford Pride including sponsored events e.g. ‘Walk with Pride’
Businesses
- - City centre businesses that want to display an official banner showing their support as Bradford Pride Angels 2011, with our official, branded and publicised logo – minimum donation £175 (includes production of banner)
- - Stalls at Bradford Pride 2011 for private businesses to promote themselves – minimum £100 for basic stall (traders, community information stall holders and public sector stalls are also available at different rates)
- - On Square promotions, leafleting, give-aways and branded mascots – sponsorship deals available by negotiation. (Businesses will not be permitted to promote themselves without prior agreement)
- - Event bar – Bradford Pride organisers will provide basic bar infrastructure, electricity supply, tables/chairs, barriers, and basic security – event bar sponsors will provide Temporary Event Notice and Licence, additional security, signage/displays (subject to agreement), all bar supplies and staffing – sponsorship to be negotiated, in the region of £2500
- - ‘Headline’ sponsorship, including ‘official’ after party – exclusive rights to describe business as ‘headline sponsor’ and/or hold ‘official’ after party, including display/promotion on stage at main event – sponsorship to be negotiated in the region of £2000 cash sponsorship, plus ‘in kind’ sponsorship through provision of onstage acts and other support
- - Sponsorship add ons – we welcome discussions with potential sponsors about developing other ‘in kind’ and cash sponsorship opportunities, e.g. provision of additional events, such as ‘Women’s Pride’; sponsorship of specific areas, such as family/young people’s area; fund-raising events in advance of Bradford Pride; providing onstage acts; providing links to other sponsors, etc.
