The Labrys Trust
The Labrys Trust was set up in 1995 by women who were part of NOLN (the Northern Older Lesbian Network). It grew out of concern about what would happen to us as we get older.
The trustees, all older lesbians, meet regularly to raise awareness of issues affecting older lesbians and to identify and improve services to meet our needs as we grow older. We currently provide an information telephone line. We plan to set up an advocacy and befriending scheme and a car transport service.
