Scarborough, Rydale OLGA – Older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Trans Association
OLGA is an all-inclusive voluntary group which welcomes anyone of any sexuality or gender nomination. The term ‘trans’ covers all people who may identify themselves as a different gender from their original one. The group plays an active role in the community, provides LGBT awareness training and arranges various social events at a “safe, confidential address”. OLGA is currently considering setting up a new Ryedale group because of the transport problems in rural areas. If you are interested contact OLGA to let them know what you would want from the group. There will be an open meeting at Ryedale Voluntary Action, Wentworth St, 2-4pm, in the main meeting room. Refreshments will be served.
York Lesbian Line
We run a phone operated listening and information service which is open on a Friday evening between 7.30pm and 9pm. We organise women only events in York including a regular social night on the first Friday of each month at William’s Bar, Goodramgate, York. We will arrange to meet up with callers as required.

Yorkshire Mesmac
Yorkshire MESMAC is one of the oldest and largest sexual health organisations in the country working predominately with gay men, bisexual men and men who have sex with men. The organisation has sites in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and York.
