Want to help us?

The Equity Partnership is a community organisation and we wouldn’t have got where we are without the help, support and enthusiasm of all kinds of people from our local LGB&T communities.

You can help us go even further by becoming a volunteer! We’re also keen to help LGB&T people develop new skills, whether office based, working with groups, in teams or other activities; by volunteering we will be able to help you to develop new skills, brush up on old ones or just enable you to ‘give something back’ to local LGB&T communities! In some cases we can also offer formal training.

Office based, ad hoc events, and assistance with Bradford Pride 2012

In our every day work we welcome help with office administration, supporting and helping our groups and assistance with events, such as the fantastically sucecssful Bradford Pride! Also at other Pride events, such as Leeds where we always have a stall.

In addition to the opportunities mentioned above, we would like to hear from anyone willing for us to use their photo in publicity materials:-

PhotoBank volunteers sought

At Equity Partnership we’re hoping to develop a stock of photos we can use for things like our website graphics and for publicity materials such as posters.

We’d really like to be able to use photographs of ‘real’ LGB&T couples and individuals, ideally people from around our region, and from a wide variety of backgrounds.

If you would be interested in allowing Equity Partnership to use photographs of you for promoting our work then we’d love to hear from you. If we hear from enough people then we’ll arrange a proper photo session and for a small fee you’ll be able to purchase the photographs for your own use too!

Become a Trustee or a Volunteer

The Board of Trustees is looking for people with skills in areas such as voluntary sector management, finance and fundraising, building management and community development.

We provide an induction programme for new volunteers and pay all your travel and other expenses for work carried out on behalf of the Partnership.
