Room Hire
The Equity Centre offers a relaxed meeting space, a fully-equipped training resource and a venue for events, right in the centre of Bradford. It’s an ideal meeting place for groups and is fully equipped for training events.
There’s always lots going on at the Centre – events, training courses and social occasions. Many LGB groups also meet here. Check out our What’s on section to find out more.
At present we don’t have enough staff or volunteers to open the Centre on a drop-in basis. Can you help us change that? We’re always happy to hear from people who can spare some time to help out at the Centre. There are lots of ways to help, from office and reception work to running drop-in sessions. If you’re interested, ask about volunteering.
Access information
The Centre has level access and is equipped with a hearing loop. The building has an accessible toilet. Please contact us if you need any further information.
Dogs are not allowed in the Centre except for assistance dogs. The Training room located in the Equity Partnership office suite is accessible via a stair lift and has an accessible toilet facility

Our 2 meeting rooms are available for hire to any group, organisation or individual at reasonable rates.
They are ideal for a variety of uses, including meetings, training courses, interviews, informal lunches and even parties!
The Equity Centre is a self contained space and is made up of a meeting room and lounge area with small kitchen attached. When hiring the Equity Centre you will usually also have use of the lounge area which enables you to meet, have break out groups and 2 seperate spaces for a variety of uses.
We have a second meeting room located near to the Equity Centre, and where our offices are. This is on Grattan Road, around the corner from the Equity Centre. Both meeting rooms are fully equipped with laptop, projector & screen, TV/DVD/video and flipchart facilities. In addition, the training room has a smart screen, which we can give you some basic instruction on.

NOTE: Individual and group members of the Equity Partnership are entitled to a 10% discount on all room hire charges.
Voluntary sector & community groups

We have small kitchens in both the Centre and the Training Room, including a microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery, a fridge and filter coffee making facilities.
We can’t provide catering, but we can put you in touch with the caterers that we use for our events – they can provide everything from sandwiches to hot buffet food such as curry or shepherd’s pie, and puddings. In some circumstances we may be able to organise this for you.
